The mission of New Hope Baptist Church of Portland, TN is to be a loving, obedient, ministering Body of Christ which under the guidance of the Holy Spirit; proclaims the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ; encourages the growth of Christian love through worship, teaching, training, and fellowship; expresses Christian love by ministering; and reaches out with other Christians to the whole world to the Glory of God.
To bring people to Jesus and membership in His family, develop them in Christ-like maturity and equip them for ministry in the church and life mission in the world, in order to magnify God’s name.
